Connect with Jamey

He studied philosophy at TCU and founded Green River Ordinance at age 15, building a diverse portfolio of businesses centered around the idea of "business with soul."

Beyond his companies, Jamey provides coaching and strategic guidance for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Jamey co-founded The 4Eleven, developing the 20,000-square-foot mixed-use warehouse on South Main into a premier event space and venue before selling his interest in 2022. With his wife Melissa, he launched BREWED, a successful coffee shop and restaurant that expanded to locations in Fort Worth's Near Southside, Bishop Arts in Dallas, and DFW airport before selling their ownership in 2019.

In 2021, Jamey expanded his business portfolio by launching a title company and Stories with Soul, a podcast exploring the journeys of Fort Worth's leading entrepreneurs and artists. His passion for hospitality drove the creation of  Casa De Ice and Casa De Camino, luxury vacation rental properties and retreats in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He's currently developing a real estate fund focused on expanding his portfolio of luxury short-term rental properties.

A member of Paradox Church in downtown Fort Worth, Jamey's interests in philosophy, habits, discipline, and personal growth continue to shape his approach to business and life. He lives in a 100-year-old house in the Near Southside with his wife Melissa (founder of The NET, a non-profit serving women who have experienced exploitation, and The Worthy Co, a social enterprise providing dignified employment for trafficking survivors) and their daughters Roosevelt and Justice

Before starting his current ventures, Jamey renovated, restored, and flipped over 120 properties in Fort Worth's Near Southside, helping revitalize one of the city's most cherished neighborhoods.

He then founded 6th Ave LLC, creating a family of businesses that challenge the status quo. The flagship company, 6th Ave Homes, is a residential one-stop shop for buying, selling, design, and renovation.

Now operating in three cities, it employs over 70 professionals across real estate, interior design, floor plan drafting, construction, and outdoor living. Alongside 6th Ave Homes, 6th Ave Storytelling provides story-driven marketing for small businesses and entrepreneurs, transforming the digital presence and brand narratives of DFW's most beloved local businesses. Both companies have been recognized as Small Business of the Year by the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce.

His impact on the business community has earned him recognition as Entrepreneur of the Year by the Fort Worth Business Press and a place among Fort Worth Inc.'s 400 Most Influential People. He was also named to the 40 Under 40 list and received the Entrepreneur of Excellence award.

Green River Ordinance, Jamey's band, achieved significant milestones in the music industry. Their record "Fifteen" debuted at #1 on the Billboard Folk Charts and #6 on the Billboard Country Charts. The band garnered two Top 40 singles on pop rock radio, five #1 singles on Texas Country Radio, and placed three albums in the Billboard Top 100.

Their music has appeared in over 70 TV shows and films, and they've shared stages with icons like Bon Jovi, Chris Stapleton, Sting, Train, Goo Goo Dolls, Zac Brown Band, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Blake Shelton, The Roots, Needtobreathe, Gavin Degraw and many more. The band stepped back from touring in 2016 to focus on their growing families but still reunites one to two times a year to perform together.
