Coaching & ConsultingLaunch Your Business

I’ll help you start your business, from the first idea to your first customer.

The plan, the numbers, the team and the systems, the brand and the marketing, built with you one step at a time, so you open ready to run.

Is this you?

  • You’re sitting on an idea you want to launch but don’t know how to start.

  • There’s a dream you’ve had for years, the one scribbled in your journal, mentioned quietly to your spouse, or shared once over drinks.

  • You’ve priced a logo, a website and some ads, and nobody has asked whether it will make money.

  • You’re about to hire your first people, and there’s no system for hiring, training or letting someone go.

  • You already opened, and it’s working and falling apart at the same time.

A logo won’t start your business. A plan will.

My approach

I’ve launched businesses. Hired and fired. Led teams through growth and seasons of chaos. I’ve built strong brands, raised capital, and burned out more than once.

I’ve started twenty-seven companies. A band at fifteen. Then Brewed, a coffee shop, restaurant and bar. The space was big, too big for just coffee. None of us had any coffee shop experience. No restaurant experience. No bar experience. It was a huge success and a complete disaster at the same time. Every overwhelmed staff member showed us what systems we needed to build. Then a real estate company before I had my license. Every time, I started before I felt ready.

I love starting things. So I’m beside you while you start yours, and you run it from day one. When I step back, it’s already yours.

Do the thing in front of you, then the next one.

What founders tell me

  • I’ve had this idea for years. I just don’t know where to start.

  • I keep waiting until I feel ready.

  • I don’t know what it has to make to be worth it.

  • We opened. Now what?

What we work on, together

The plan and the pitch

What you’re building, who it’s for, and where it’s headed. The growth plan, and the pitch you’ll take to partners, investors and your first hires.

The numbers

What it takes to open, what it has to make, and when it pays you back. Plain math, before you sign a lease or order a sign.

The team and the systems

Who you hire first and how you hire them, how you let someone go, and the processes that keep it running when you’re not there. The operating system for your business, built before you need it.

The brand and the story

If you’re a small business and you invite people into your story, then you don’t have to sell anything.

Your name, your message, and the story behind it, so people feel like they know you before they buy.

The marketing and the launch

Who hears about you first, where they already are, and what you say to them. Then a date on the calendar. Don’t wait for perfect. Pick the date and open.

How it works

  1. Tell me about your idea.

What it is, who it’s for, and how far along you are. A napkin is fine.

  2. We build it, piece by piece.

We start with whatever your business needs first. You build some pieces with me beside you. Others, like the brand, I can build for you.

  3. You open.

On a date you set, ready for your first customers.

One founder or a founding team. In person in Fort Worth. Virtual anywhere.

You already have the vision. Now you need a first step.

  • The idea is out of the journal and on the calendar.

  • You know what it has to make, and when it pays you back.

  • You know who you’re hiring first, and how.

  • Your first customers know where to find you.

  • You opened on the date you set, with a plan.

Questions people ask

  • I don’t have a business yet. Is that too early?

No. That’s the best time. It’s far easier to fix an idea on paper than a business with a lease.

  • Will you build my logo and website?

Yes, if you want me to. First we decide what they need to say and who they’re for. Then I build them for you, or point you to designers I’ve used for years and trust.

  • What kinds of businesses do you work with?

All kinds. I’ve started a band, a coffee shop and restaurant, a real estate company, a title company, a marketing agency and short-term rentals.

  • I already opened, and it’s wobbling. Is it too late?

No. We find the step that got skipped, go back and build it, and move forward from there.

The chaos won’t fix itself. The launch won’t happen on its own.

If you’re ready to:

  • Stop carrying the idea and start building it

  • Know the math before you sign a lease

  • Hire with a system, not a hunch

  • Open the doors and run it yourself

The only thing left is to start.
